Work:

1972-2002 medicine practice.

 

Activity:

Works in Jewish community of Kazakhstan since 1991.

In 1992 was elected as president of Association of Jewish National Organization of Republic Kazakhstan “Mitsva”;

From 1994 became the co-chairman of Federation of Jewish Organizations and Communities of CIS;

From 1996 was elected as the chairman of council of Republican Jewish charitable public association «The Center Care – Hesed Polina»;

The member of council of continental sections of the World Congress of Russian-speaking Jewry

The member of Presidium of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress;

The member of council of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan;

The member of National Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

Achievements:

working in Association “Mitsva” Alexandr Baron has made the considerable contribution to national revival of Jews of Kazakhstan. For today in 17 big cities of Kazakhstan the Jewish cultural centers are organized. Under his direct management work the charitable centers in 13 cities of Kazakhstan which render the versatile help to more than 4 thousand people.
