Maximillian Marco Katz: “Romania stays day and night for helping refugees from Ukraine”
Maximillian Marco Katz, Vice President at Romanian Zionist Association and EJP member states that the whole country is united in the help for Ukrainian refugees. The staff of the Israeli Embassy in Romania, led by Ambassador David Saranga and Deputy Ambassador Amir Sagron, assisting Ukrainian refugees arriving to one of the border crossings, almost non-stop. The Embassy’s staff is up there since the very beginning of this humanitarian crisis.



This is how the House of God in Bucharest, the Chabad Synagogue is looking these days: full of items of all kinds, donated by Israelis in Bucharest for the Ukrainian Refugees, Jews and non-Jewish. Israelis also offered office spaces, apartments and houses for Ukrainians in real need. The man carrying one of the 10 Ukrainian children (suffering of cancer) on his back, is David Saranga, the Ambassador of Israel in Romania, all 10 children and their parents are transferred from the Kyiv hospital to Israel for medical treatment.
