Happy Hanukkah!

Dear Friends,

This evening, Israel and Jewish communities around the world begin to celebrate Hanukkah.

This holiday embodies the triumph of faith and justice over the forces striving to deprive the Jewish people of the most important thing – spirituality.

This year we are somewhat departing from our traditions and, first of all, we want to wish health to you and your loved ones.

We live in a very difficult time, both for Israel and for the whole world.

Every day we are engaged in important and serious work in very difficult conditions, a new reality, but despite this, we continue to do our best for the prosperity of our communities and our people.

I am sure that together we are able to survive all adversity, hardships will temper us, make us stronger.

It was said: “The darkness cannot be dispersed with a stick. But a small ray of light can dispel great darkness.”

Each Jewish community is a small ray of light that is part of a bright luminary called the Jewish people.

I sincerely congratulate you on the warm and bright holiday of Hanukkah!

Chag Sameach!
