Matvey Chlenov

Matvey Chlenov, born and lives  in Moscow, is an expert on contemporary Russian Jewish affairs and anti-Semitism in the former Soviet Union.  

His education centered on Modern Jewish history and Politics at the Russian State University for Humanities and  at the University College London. He currently works as an advisor to a member of the Council of Federation, the upper chamber of the Russian Parliament.  

Matvey also teaches Modern Jewish history at the Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies of the Russian State University on Humanities and advises international Jewish organizations on media and governmental relations.
