Just like so many young Jewish people I got into contact with the Jewish community like the others in the countryside after the change of the political system, at the age of 14. Aged 18 we started from nothing going from house to house to gather young Jewish people and rebuild the local Jewish youth organization. I was just past the age of 20 when I was selected as the representative the local jewish community. With this I was the youngest representative elected after world war II. A few years later I took part in the formation of community life as a national representative of MAZSIHISZ (Alliance of the Jewish Communities of Hungary). Meanwhile I was the volunteer, founding member or trustee of several Jewish organizations.

In 2002 my brother and I cofounded Jewish Meeting Point - Jewish Social Network, to contact Hungarian speaking Jews in Hungary and all over the world. Since then the project has evolved so much that the foundation behind it (JMPoint for Jewish Community Public Benefit Foundation) is present in almost every field of the Jewish community life in Hungary. (Community building, Formal and informal education, The spread of cultural values, Protection of Heritage, Lifestyle) See for more details: http://about.jmpoint.hu

In 2009/2010 our organization was selected as one of the 12 most innovative Jewish projects in Europe (Compass Europe).

I have been a member of ROI Community since 2010, which is a global community of Jewish innovators.

From 2011 on I have been active in roundtable negotiations between the government and Jewish organizations.

Since 2012 I have been a member of The American-Hungarian Roundtable brought about by the American Jewish Committee.

Interests: photography, music ,travel, scuba-diving.
