1976-1986: Grammar school “Goethe-Gymnasium”,Frankfurt/Main; 

A-level exams in English, Mathematics, Political Science, Russian, Sports; 

1986-1991: Law studies at the “Johann-Wolfgang – von –Goethe – University” of Frankfurt/Main, Hessen, Germany; 

1991-1993: Law studies at the “Johannes-Gutenberg – University” of Mainz, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany; 

March 1993: First State Examination; 

November 1993 – October 1995: legal clerkship at the District Court (Landgericht) of Potsdam;

March 1996: Second State Examination.

 

Work experience: 

1993 – 1994:  Müller-Degenhardt & Associates, Law office – Real Estate Department; 

1994 - 1996:  legal advisor to a Private Investment Fund. 

 

Social and organizational experiences and expertise: 

1984-1991: Organization of and leadership in holiday camps for children and teenagers of the Jewish Welfare Organisation of Germany (ZwSt); 

From 2001  Delegate of the Jewish Community of Berlin to the Central Counsel of Jewish Communities in Germany (Zentralrat der Juden in Deutschland);  

2001-2003  Member of the Committee of Religious Affairs of the Jewish Community of Berlin; 

From 2003  Member of the Committee of Arbitration of the Jewish Community in Berlin (Chairman since 2006); 

From 2010  Member of the Higher Administration and Arbitration Court at the Central Counsel of Jewish Communities in Germany (Zentralrat der Juden in Deutschland) 

2003-2005  Member of the youth committee of the Jewish Welfare Organisation of Germany (ZwSt);

From 2003  Member of the Committee of the Berlin Campaign of Keren Hayesod (UJA United Jewish Appeal); 

2003-2005  Deputy Chairman of the National German Campaign of Keren Hayesod (UJA United Jewish Appeal); 

2004-2006  Chairman of the Berlin Campaign of Keren Hayesod (UJA United Jewish Appeal);

2006-present  Chairman of the National German Campaign of Keren Hayesod (UJA United Jewish Appeal).
