1970-1973: Direction départementale de l'Equipement de l'Essonne, urban development projects in a south district of Paris conurbation (one million inhabitants);

1973-1974: "Alfred P. Sloan Fellow" at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT);

1974-1976: Responsible for important development projects at headquarters of Housing and urban development ministry;

1976-1980: Appointed Inspecteur des Finances, member of the general auditing task force of french Government;

1980-1982: Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole, head of international operations, then head of domestic operations;

1982-1985: General manager of Banque SOFINCO;

1985-1986: General secretary of Assurances générales de France;

1987-1987: At the Inspection Générale des Finances;

1989-2011: Inspecteur Général des Finances.
