Rabbi Kotel Dadon

Rabbi Dadon is a Rabbi, Proffesor, Theologian and Judaist.


His religious, academic and rabbinic education took place in different theological institutions:  Yeshiva Ha-Kotel in Jerusalem, where he also serves in the IDF (1987 - 1991) and in SSC Midrash Sephardi Rabbinical and Teacher Seminary in Jerusalem (1991 - 1996), where he graduated both rabbinic and pedagogical education.

Rabbi Dadon also graduated the Law Faculty of the University of Bar Ilan in Ramat Gan (1991- 1995).


Since 1995, Rabbi Dadon as a lawyer is a member of the Israeli Bar Association.

In 1996 moved to Budapest, Hungary to continue his studies and in 2006 he received his PhD in Budapest at the Jewish Theological Seminary - University of Jewish Studies in the field of Jewish philosophy.

Since 1996 – Rabbi Dadon worked as a professor at the Jewish Theological Seminary - University of Jewish Studies in Budapest, in the faculties of rabbinical and pedagogical studies. 


In 1998 Rabbi Dadon was appointed as Chief Rabbi in Croatia.


Since the spring of 2006, Rabbi Dadon is starting to teach as a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in the University of Zagreb in the Chair of Judaic studies.

In 2012, Rabbi Dadon is appointed as the head of the Chair for Judaic studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in the University of Zagreb.

Rabbi Dadon published few books and many scientific articles. 

Rabbi Dadon has four children, three sons and a daughter. His sons are serving in the IDF in Israel.
