European Jewish Parliament congratulates Monika Krawczyk on her recent appointment for the position of Director of Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw

The Chairman, the Board and Members of European Jewish Parliament would like to extend the warmest congratulations to Monika Krawczyk on her recent appointment for the position of Director of Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw. It is a public institution which is in charge of historical collections and Jewish memory in Poland.

We wish her every success in her new duties and greater heights and achievements and we are looking forward to future fruitful cooperation of EJP and Jewish Historical Institute.
Since January 2019 Monika Krawczyk was appointed the President of Jewish Community in Poland.

Monika has been managing the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland, or FODZ, for the past 14 years, where she has dealt with matters related to restitution, protection of Jewish cemeteries and youth education. She was a speaker in international forums on Jewish heritage in Poland and legal issues relating to restitution and management of historical sites.
