EJP member Lev Samovski and the Jewish Agency for Israel conducted 3 day seminar for future repatriates from Georgia

The Jewish Agency for Israel, with the most active
participation MJEP Lev Samovski, head of the repatriation and information department of the Jewish Agency’s representative office in the South Caucasus, for the first time after the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic,organized a special three-day seminar for 100 future repatriates from Georgia in the famous Georgian resort Borjomi.

Even, despite the quarantine and pandemic, the number of those wishing to make repatriation to Israel is not decreasing. Lev Samovski conducted several lectures and workshops introducing the participants of the seminar to various aspects of life in Israel, with important information they needed at first steps, conducted trainings on employment issues.


Participants of the seminar were able to communicate through ZOOM with representatives of the cities of Bat Yam and Ashkelon, where most immigrants from Georgia settle down and receive a gift- for the first time published in Georgian language ” New immigrant’s guide”, into the translation and publication of which Lev Samovski made a great personal contribution with the sponsorship of the Jewish Agency.
